Dear Readers,
We here at the Young Adult Ministry Trend Report have been hard at work bringing you useful insights and informative newsletters to support you in your ministry. Today, we have nearly 300 subscribers receiving our regular publications.
We originally thought that paid subscriptions could be purchased on behalf of churches, and therefore useful to all church leaders rather than just the lead clergy person. Thus, we thought the main paid subscribers would be congregations instead of individual clergy.
Over the past few months, it has become more and more clear that the overwhelming majority of our subscribers are individual clergy. This means that our current pricing is far above the range that is reasonable to most clergy people.
Therefore, we are announcing that all new paid subscriptions will be available for an annual rate of $30 or $5 for the monthly rate. This is the absolute minimum subscription price as set in Substack’s current offerings, so we hope that this will make our paid subscriptions more affordable for you.
For those who already have a paid subscription, we will give you a second year subscription for free and two free gift subscriptions (that is, you can give two free one-year subscriptions to a colleague, friend, etc. of your choice). We are so thankful for your subscription and faith in our fledgling newsletter publications!
This month’s newsletter on young people and education will be available for free to all subscribers, whether paid or not. Please feel free to enjoy and consider upgrading to a paid subscription if you have not done so already!
Thank you,

Thank you SO much for making individual subscriptions available at an affordable rate. My church doesn't have the budget for an institutional subscription. I've been gleaning what I could as a free subscriber and wishing I could afford to get more access, so I am very grateful! This information is invaluable for my campus and young adult ministry. Keep up the excellent work!
