Monthly Report: Young People and their Career Goals
Check out our monthly newsletter for young adult trends on how they approach careers and pursue their professional goals.
As most Millennials are in the second decade of their professional lives, more and more Gen Zers are entering the professional world. With this changing of the guard in the workplace can come conflict, as the differences in work habits, corporate culture, and general outlooks clash. But there is also great opportunity for new learning as well as intergenerational friendship and mentorship.
For many negotiating these professional transitions, or advising those who do, it can be helpful to know how young people today approach the professional world, and especially how they understand their lives as they juggle work, family life, and leisure. This month’s newsletter will explore these trends and more, offering insight into how they view their professional lives and pursue their career goals, with an eye towards how these trends relate to our congregations and how churches can engage the professional lives of young people in constructive and supportive ways.
